4. Use a rubber mallet to aid in lifting the roof from the posts. See
Figures 4 and 5.
NOTE:
There are four (4) pins for ELX-400 - 500 and six (6) pins for ELX-
650 - 1000 securing the roof.

5. Remove the flow switch from the water supply manifold. See
Figure 6.

6. Use the eyelets to hoist the unit. See Figure 7.

3. Remove the seven (7) screws on the back of the unit (in red) and
loosen the six (6) screws on the bottom of the water and gas
flanges (in blue). See Figure 3.
NOTE:
There are slots on the roof that allows the roof to be removed
with these six (6) screws in place.
The boiler is heavy. At least two individuals and special
equipment (pallet jack, forklift, hoist, etc.) are needed to properly
handle the boiler. If surface flooring is rough, take care not to
damage the boiler when moving it into position.
