These precautions are provided to
prevent a failure of the product and
ensure that performance can be fully
demonstrated. Thoroughly read these
precautions to ensure correct use.

■ Precautions common to the main

unit, internal battery, charging
equipment, au IC Card and peripheral
equipment

●

Do not apply excessive force to the product
during use. The product should not be
placed in a stuffed bag, and it should not be
pressed under a heavy object. Sitting on
the product in your pocket might damage
the display or internal circuit board resulting
in a malfunction.
Keeping an external device connected to
the connector or stereo earphone jack
might damage the connector resulting in a
malfunction. Such damage and malfunction
are not covered by the warranty, even if
there is no external damage.

●

For the waterproof performance (equivalent
to IPX7) of this product, be sure to firmly
install the au Nano IC Card 04/microSD
memory card tray.
However, this does not guarantee the
performance in every usage condition. Do
not allow the water to intrude into the
product, or make the charging equipment
and optional accessories wet. Do not
install/remove the au Nano IC Card 04/
microSD memory card tray in rain and it
should not have any water droplets. The
