WARNINGS
• This hose is designed for normal irrigation tasks.
• The hose is best used with a garden nozzle (not included). Without
a garden nozzle, the garden hose contracts a few metres every
time the tap is turned on and you put the water stop in the open
position. The product may have to expand and contract several
times before the garden hose reaches its maximum length.
• The hose is not suitable for commercial purposes, for use with hot
water or under high pressure (e.g. on pressure washers). This may
cause serious injury to persons or damage or destruction of the
product.
• The maximum pressure of the water hose is 8 bar.
• This product is not a toy and must be kept out of reach of children
and pets.
• Never direct the water jet at people or animals.
• Never direct the water jet at electrical appliances. There is a risk of
electric shock.
• To avoid injuries, the hose must not be pulled apart or stretched
when empty.
• The garden hose is not suitable for drinking water supply. Do not
drink from the hose.
• The garden hose is an aid that is used and stored outdoors. The
means that it may come into contact with substances that are
potentially dangerous to humans, such as mould, bacteria, grass,
garden chemicals, animal excrements, insects, stagnant water or
other pollutants.
• This can lead to contamination of the water inside the hose, which
can have serious health consequences.
• If the emptied hose is pulled apart and accidentally released, it
contracts very quickly and can cause injury to bystanders.
OPERATION
Note: How far a hose stretches depends on the water pressure.
1. Attach the tap piece of the garden hose to the tap so that no
water escapes at the connection point (A).
2. Alternatively, you can use one of the adapters to connect the hose
to the tap. (B)
3. Turn on the tap and gradually increase the water pressure on the
hose. The garden hose automatically expands to three times its
original length.
4. Once the garden hose has expanded to its maximum length, you
can use the product as an ordinary garden hose.
5. If you no longer wish to use the garden hose, turn off the tap.
6. Let the remaining water run out of the hose. As the water runs out
of the garden hose, the hose contracts back to its original length.
7. The two universal adapters supplied can be used depending on
the existing connections and accessories.
