Step 11.
When the Locking Nut meets the polymer ring and begins to become
hard to tighten use the custom nylon wrench shown in photo 15 to tighten the
Locking Nut. The Locking Nut will require about 1 full turn after the Locking Nut
is hand tight to achieve desired torque.
Note: it is important to get proper torque on each Strut and the Locking Nuts to
achieve proper frame stiffness and performance.
Step 12.
Screw the Washer onto the threads of the struts completely as shown
in Photo 16. Screw all the way down until the Washer comes in contact with the
Locking Nut. Light hand tight is fine. Do not put a large torque on Washer.
