a) Check airbrakes for free movement and close fit.
b) With airbrakes opened, check the airbrake box for the possible
water accumulation - water should be removed using a sponge.
c) Check flap trailing edges for damage.
Lightly shake flaps on the trailing edge to detect unusually large
play in the system.
d) Check flap hinges for any damage if accessible. Check
surrounding surface area of flap&aileron drives for any damage.

a) Check fuselage for damage, especially on its lower side.
b) Check if the holes for static pressure on the fuselage shell are
clear.
Visual inspection of the powerplant:

Ignition to be switched off!
c) Check the engine bay for foreign material and leaked fuel.
d) Check fuel quantity.
e) Check wing tank feed and vent hose connection (if wing tank
installed).
f) Check propeller pylon during extension for sufficient clearance
to the rim of the engine compartment.
g) Check propeller for damage.
h) Check power plant for loose bolt and nuts, check all locks and
stops.
i)
Check exhaust system, engine pylon and propeller mounting
structure for cracks (check metal parts especially at the welding
joints).
j)
Check all components, lines, hoses, pipes and wires etc. for
chafing marks.
k) Check engine arresting wires and their attachment for proper
condition.
