Requirements

•

HP Vectra with DOS and MS-Windows for Workgroups 3.11 installed.

•

Madge Smart 16/4 PCI TR adapter and drivers diskettes ver 4.4.

•

Driver Name: Size: 59KB Date: 5/22/95

•

Novell Netware 4.11 server that supports Net BEUI, NWLink IPX/SPX,
and NWLink NetBIOS transfer protocols.

•

Netware client for DOS and MS-Windows.

Procedure

With the HP Vectra turned off install the Madge Smart16/4 PCI TR
adapter card into a PCI slot.

Power on the machine and boot to a DOS prompt.

Insert Netware Client for DOS and Windows Disk 1 and execute
“A:\INSTALL.”

4

Change the settings to match the following and then option 6 to continue
the installation.

Insert the corresponding diskettes to finish the file transfer, and then
reboot the machine.
