Removal and replacement procedures 30
1.
Align and install the SATA mezzanine onto the cartridge. Press down on the connector using minimal
pressure to seat the SATA mezzanine.
2.
Install the cartridge (on page 13 ).
3.
Install the access panel (on page 16 ).
4.
Power up all nodes on the cartridge (" Powering up the node " on page 18 ).
Solid state device
To remove the component:
CAUTION: Always use the screws provided for the solid state device. Screws provided for the
mezzanine assembly or solid state devices on other cartridges are longer and can damage the
solid state device and the mezzanine assembly.
1.
Back up all data on the solid state device.
2.
Power down the node or cartridge (" Power down " on page 9 ).
3.
Extend the chassis from the rack (on page 10 ).
4.
Remove the access panel (on page 11 ).
5.
Remove the cartridge from the chassis (" Remove the cartridge " on page 12 ).
