Expansion board options
NOTE:
This procedure shows images of the SCSI model server, but it also applies to the SAS model server.
The server supports PCI, PCI-X, and PCI Express expansion boards. PCI hot-plug capability is available on
some expansion slots.
NOTE:
PCI Express applies only to SCSI models.
For instructions on installing a RILOE II board, refer to the
HP Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition II User
Guide
on the Documentation CD.
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended that the optional RILOE II board be installed in slot 1. If you plan to install
a RILOE II board in the future, leave slot 1 unpopulated.
