Removal and Replacement Procedures

4. Disconnect the battery module cable from the BBWCE and from the Smart

Array 6i memory connector on the system board.

5. Remove the battery module cable from the cable clip on the system board.

6. Remove the Smart Array 6i memory module.

7. Turn the quarter-turn fasteners counter-clockwise to unlock the module.

8. Lift the battery module from the server.

9. Remove the battery from the module.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
