The Summary of settings window opens, displaying your user

name and company name.

Click

Configure

.

The configuration process begins, displaying a slider bar. When

finished, the Confirmation window opens, indicating that DPM

has been successfully configured.

To start DPM, select

Open DPM 2006 Administrator Console

when the Mini-Setup closes

. Then, click

Close

. DPM opens in a

few moments.

IMPORTANT:

When DPM 2006 opens, a help window is displayed. Use the help

information to complete the following configuration tasks:
• Configure the server.
• Install disk agents.
• Create a Protection Group.
