Hard drives
Follow these steps to remove a 2.5-inch hard drive:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparation for disassembly on page 20
).
2.
Remove the access panel (see
3.
Disconnect the hard drive power cable (1) from the 2.5-inch hard drive.
4.
Disconnect the hard drive data cable (2) from the 2.5-inch hard drive.
5.
Release the retention clip (1) that secures the 2.5-inch hard drive to the drive cage.
6.
Lift the left side of the 2.5-inch hard drive (2) until it releases from the slots in the drive cage.
