Installing CloudSystem 50

Running the installation utility

The CloudSystem installer can be launched from the management VM, by using a connected laptop or

workstation. For more information, see "Configuring a laptop or workstation to access the system (on

page

)."

Before launching the installation utility, you should have completed the preinstallation worksheet for

CloudSystem ("

CloudSystem

" on page

If you encounter issues during the installation process, see "Troubleshooting CloudSystem (on page

)."

Launch the installation utility by using the CloudSystem 9.01 Installation desktop icon or by executing the

file

C:\Program Files\HPE\HPECS9Setup\CloudSystem9.exe

Completing the Introduction screen

On the Introduction screen, review the content and accept the vSphere PowerCLI End User License

Agreement.

Click

Next

to proceed to the Installation Options screen.

Completing the Installation Options screen

On the Installation Options screen, specify whether you are installing the Foundation or Enterprise

version of CloudSystem.
The Enterprise version is a superset of Foundation and includes the Cloud Service Automation and

Operations Orchestration products.

Specify the location of the MySQL JDBC driver by clicking

Browse

and selecting the location of the

libmysql-java_5.1.32-1_all.deb driver file.
