STREAM

the next mon th.
DATE Sp ecies the absolute date in the format mm/dd/yy , where mm
is the mon th ( 1<= mm <=12 ), dd is the da y ( 1<= dd <=31 ), and
yy is the y ear. If y ou omit this parameter, the curren t date is
used.
IN Sp ecies the relativ e date or time in one of the following forms:
days Indicates the n um b er of da ys from the curren t
date expressed as a p ositiv e in teger.
hours Indicates the n um b er of hours from the
curren t time expressed as a p ositiv e in teger
( 0< hours <=23 ). If y ou omit this parameter,
zero is used.
minutes Indicates the n um b er of min utes from the
curren t time expressed as a p ositiv e in teger
( 0<= minutes <=59 ). If y ou omit this parameter,
zero is used.
Operation Notes
Usage
Y ou can en ter this command from a session, a job, a program, or in break
mo de. Pressing 4 Break 5 during an in teractiv ely streamed job ab orts execution
of the job.
Requiremen ts
Y ou m ust ha v e read (R) and lo c k (L) or execute (X) le access in order to
stream jobs. The system administrator should assign general users only X
access, b ecause R and L access w ould allo w general users to obtain securit y
information within the le, suc h as passw ords and lo c kw ords.
Y ou can initiate stream jobs only if the system administrator has enabled the
stream facility b y en tering the STREAMS console command.
