Remove the access panel. Refer to the “Removing the Access Panel” section
earlier in this chapter.

If the server has a universal rail solution:

Disconnect the power cord and cables from the server rear panel (including
cables extending from expansion boards), moving from left to right.

Loosen the server thumbscrews securing the cable tray to the universal rack
rail and to the server (1) and remove the cable tray from the server (2).
