Hotkey and Shortcut Key Procedures

To use a hotkey command or shortcut key on the notebook 
keyboard:

Briefly press the 

Fn

 key, then briefly press the second key of 

the command. 

or

Press and hold down the 

Fn

 key, briefly press the second key 

of the command, then release both keys simultaneously.

To use hotkeys on an external keyboard, press the 

scroll lock

 key 

twice, then the second key only of the hotkey combination. For 
example, to use the 

Fn+F8 

hotkeys to increase screen brightness, 

press 

scroll lock+scroll lock+F8.

The key combination does not function on a USB keyboard.
