The

spanning-tree bpdu

Global Configuration mode command defines BPDU handling when

the spanning tree is disabled globally or on a single interface. To return to the default
configuration, use the

form of this command.

Syntax

spanning-tree bpdu {filtering | flooding}

Parameters

filtering

— Filter BPDU packets when the spanning tree is disabled on an interface.

flooding

— Flood BPDU packets when the spanning tree is disabled on an interface.

Default Setting

The default setting is flooding.

Command Modes

Global Configuration mode

Command Usage

There are no user guidelines for this command.

Example

The following command defines BPDU packet flooding when the spanning-tree is disabled on an
