Removal and Replacement Procedures
NIC Riser Board
To remove the NIC riser board:
1. Power down the server blade and remove it from the server blade enclosure. Refer to the
“Server Blad e Preparation” section in this chapter.
2. Remove the FC adapter. Refer to “Dual Port Fibre Channel Adapter” in this chapter.
3. Loosen the thumbscrews (1).
4. Remove the NIC riser board (2).

Reverse steps 1 through 4 to replace the NIC riser board.
