Getting Started

How to Change the Value of a Parameter

When you have finished editing the value, press E

NTER

. The

edited value becomes the new value of the parameter.

To change the wavelength from 1540.000 nm to 1525.000 nm:

Move to the wavelength parameter for a Tunable Laser module
and press [Edit]. The most significant digit is highlighted.

Press the left cursor once to highlight the digit four.

Press the down cursor twice to change the value of the digit to
two.

Press the right cursor once to move the cursor one digit right.

Press the up cursor five times to change the value of the digit to
five. Press E

NTER

to end the editing.

How to Change a Discrete Parameter

For discrete parameters, you may choose a particular values within
a given range.

For a Power Sensor module:

Move to the Power Sensor channel and press the [Details]
softkey.

Move to the [A

IME

] parameter and press E

NTER

Move to 1 s, by using the cursor key, and press E

NTER

Move to the Power Sensor channel and press the [Menu] softkey.

Move to the <A

VERAGING

IME
