Bit Definitions
MAV—message available.
Indicates whether there is a response in the
output queue.
ESB—event status bit.
Indicates if any of the conditions in the
Standard Event Status Register are set and enabled.
MSS—master summary status.
Indicates whether the device has a
reason for requesting service. This bit is returned for the *STB? query.
RQS—request service.
Indicates whether the device is requesting
service. This bit is returned during a serial poll. RQS is set to 0 after it is
read via a serial poll (MSS is not reset by *STB?).
URQ— user request.
Indicates whether a front-panel key has been
pressed.
CME— command error.
Indicates whether the parser detected an
error.
EXE — execution error.
Indicates whether a parameter was out of
range, or was inconsistent with the current settings.
DDE— device specific error.
Indicates whether the device was
unable to complete an operation for device dependent reasons.
QYE — query error.
Indicates whether the protocol for queries has
been violated.
RQC— request control.
Indicates whether the device is requesting
control. The logic analyzer never requests control.
OPC— operation complete.
Indicates whether the device has
completed all pending operations.
TRG—trigger.
Indicates whether a trigger has been received.
