4. Release the ZIF connector

to which the power button board cable is attached, and then disconnect the power
button board cable

from the system board.
5. Remove the 19 Torx T8M2.5×8.0 screws that secure the top cover to the base enclosure.
6. Lift the rear edge of the top cover

until it disengages from the base enclosure. Callout

identifies the
locations where the top cover more securely connects to the base enclosure. If necessary, apply additional
upward and outward pressure at these points to disengage the top cover.
7. Remove the top cover

Reverse this procedure to install the top cover.
