Before removing the privacy board, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Remove the bottom cover (see

Remove the battery (see

Battery on page 30

Remove the privacy board:

Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the board (1).

Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.5 screw (2) that secures the board to the computer.

Lift the board out of the computer (3).

Reverse this procedure to install the privacy board.
