OPERATION
Setup and measurement procedure is as follows:
a. Set the instrumentls INT BIAS switch on the front panel to the ±42V MAX

pos it i on.
b. Connect the l6080A directly to the UNKNOWN terminals of the instrument.
c. Perform internal or ex ternal error correction as described in SECTION
III of the instrumentls operation and service manual.
d. Insert the OUT into the test fixture.
4. MAINTENANCE
The internal wiring of the l6080A is shown in Figure 3 and an ex ploded view
-for parts identification

in Figure 4.
Do not disassemble any further
than
shown.
Maintenance
consists
principally
of cleaning
contacts and
replacing
worn or damaged parts.
Take special care when cleaning contacts.
To order parts, use the Hewlett-packard part numbers listed in Figure 4.
If a
faulty part is located in an assembly that cannot be disassembled, order the
nex t higher assembly or return the whole device to the nearest Hewlett-Packard
Sales/Se�vice Office for repair or replacement.
