If the WLAN antenna is not connected to the terminal on the WLAN module, install a protective sleeve on 

the antenna connector, as shown in the following illustration.

To install the WLAN module, reverse this procedure.

Speakers

To remove the speakers, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:

1.

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see 

Preparation for disassembly on page 36

).

2.

Remove the bottom cover (see

).

3.

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see 

Battery on page 38

).

Remove the speakers:

1.

Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 broadhead screws (1) that secure each speaker to the computer.

2.

Disconnect the speaker cables from the system board (2).

3.

Remove the speakers from the computer (3) .

NOTE:

When removing the speakers, make note of the location of the rubber isolators. The absence of 

or damage to these isolators can result in degraded speaker performance.
