Parts with no exchange restrictions are the fol-
lowing:

gearing system, chain rings, sprockets

●

scranks

●

pedals (with reflectors incl. design approval)

●

grips

●

tubes

There is a “anti-manipulation label” mounted to
the vehicle which contains information about
some of the components that were defined du-
ring the process of design approval. This label
must not be removed!

No alteration of parts

Safety instructions (S-Pedelec)

Danger!

If any part is deformed (e.g. due to

an accident or overload), especially frame,
knuckles, handlebar, seat mountings, pedals,
cranks and brakes, it is not allowed to use it
any further or repair it. Do not try to
straighten bent parts.You must replace them
for your own safety. If you do not replace a
damaged part it can result in a total failure
of the part and you may be seriously in-
jured!

Caution!

You are not allowed to perform

any work on the parts of the tricycle, espe-
cially frame, fork, handlebar and seat, which
might endanger their solidity.
These works include drilling holes, welding,
brazing, paint methods that add heat or any
other chemical treatment. If any of these
works is done improperly it may result in a
loss of strength by direct damage or in-
creased susceptibility to corrosion.

Identification plate

There is a identification plate fixed to the
frame which contains the most important in-
formation about vehicle and manufacturer.This
plate must not be removed!

No riding without accumulator

According to the regulations in your country,
it might not be allowed to ride the Scorpion fs
26 S-Pedelec without a properly charged accu-
mulator installed.The accumulator provides
electric energy for lighting system and brake
light.Without accumulator, these features will
not work (see also

page 32

).
