Before removing the USB/power connector board, follow these steps:

Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power cord.

Remove the battery (see

Battery on page 28

Remove the following components:

Remove the USB/power connector board:

Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screws

that secure the USB/power connector board to the

computer.

Release the USB/power connector board as far as the USB/power connector board
