Check size of the thread (fork) before use.

Secure the work piece in the work stand or bench vise during operation.
３．
Do not apply excessive force, such as using tubes as extender handles on this tool.
４．
Do not use when cracks, breaks, excessive wear or deformation is found on this tool.

Do not remodel the C - 421.

Lubricate the cutting section periodically.

Caution
Place the die holder upside down (HOZAN
logotype is also upside down) and place the
die with the size stamped face upward as
shown in the photo.
Be sure that the die set screw aims at the pre-
scribed place.

Screw the handles into the die holder.

Unscrew the die set screw from the die holder.
Tighten the die set screw and secure the die with it.

Do not screw in the die set screw into the die adjust screw’s cavity or the die
slit.
・
Do not secure the die set screw excessively tight, it will cause break of the die
or the die holder.

