When

the  i-care

 function is active, only slight

adjustments can  be made to the temperature settings.
The freezer  can be adjusted only colder, from -18°C to
-19°C or -20°C.
The refrigerator can be adjusted  slightly colder or
warmer from a g5°C to 4° or +6°C.
If it is necessary to make these  adjustments,

hold down

the i-care  button and use the

 and

 temperature

adjustment buttons for either the freezer or refrigerator
compartment.

The i-care setting can be de-activated by  pressing the
corresponding button (see Control Panel).
(Note  also that i-care will  automatically be de-activated
if certain other buttons are pressed, see below).
Then, it is possible to make larger  adjustments to the
compartment temperatures using any of the available
settings  on the display for the refrigerator and freezer.
The set temperatures may not be achieved in all
conditions, but try adjusting the setting warmer
or colder (as necessary). The actual stored
food temperature can be  affected by food loading,
number  of door openings and by extreme ambient
conditions (very cold or  very warm  locations).

To activate and de-activate other functions  simply press
the relevant button and the status will be shown by
the corresponding LED switching on or off.

The

Holiday function

 minimises energy usage when on

holiday the set temperatures may not be adjusted.
The settings will automatically be +12°C for  the
refrigerator and -18°C for the freezer.
AUTO and Holiday button will be  illuminated.
Remember to remove perishable food.

To avoid setting conflicting operating  modes, some
functions cannot be selected together.
Example: Super cool, super freeze, ice  party, i-care
cannot be selected with Holiday mode.
The LEDs indicate the active function.

Press the

Ice  Party

button when a wine bottle is

inserted in the freezer for  chilling.
A buzzer will beep once and the Ice party LED  light will
flash indicating the bottle

must

 be  removed.

Do

not

leave the bottle in  the freezer because it will

freeze and this can cause the bottle to  break.
Press the Ice Party button to cancel the LED .

ALARMS.

!

The freezer  status bar is also used to indicate an

unusual temperature increase in the  freezer
compartment.  See

Troubleshooting

 section for more

details about alarms and cancelling  these.

No Frost cooling system

This is recognisable by air
ducts located on the back
walls of each
compartment.
The No Frost system
circulates cold air
continuously to collect
humidity and prevent ice
and frost formation. The
system maintains an

optimal humidity level in the compartment, preserving
the original quality of the food, preventing the food from
sticking together and making defrosting a thing of the
past. Do not block the air circulation by placing food or
containers in direct contact  with the rear ducts.

Child Lock

In order to activate the Child Lock function, the Child Lock
button must be pressed for 2 seconds; the activation of the
button lock is confirmed by a short beep and the
illumination of the corresponding LED.
To deactivate the function, press the Child Lock button for 2
seconds; deactivation will be confirmed by a short beep
and by the corresponding LED switching off.
