Start-up and use
SHELVES
: with or without grill.
Due to the special guides the
shelves are removable and the
height is adjustable (
see
diagram), allowing easy storage
of large containers and food.
Height can be adjusted without
complete removal of the shelf.
FRESH BOX

Due to the compartment low temperature (the coldest
in the refrigerator) food can be stored for up to one
week. It can also be used to store chilled ready meals.
(always read the instructions on the food packaging).
WINE RACK:
Use to store bottles of wine. The air circulates freely
between the bottles.

Starting the appliance
!
After transportation of the appliance, carefully place it in
an upright position and wait at least 3 hours before
connecting it to the electricity mains, to make sure it
operates as it should.
• Clean the inside of the refrigerator well using warm
water and bicarbonate of soda before placing food
inside it.
• The appliance is fitted with an electronic motor
control system. The compressor motor will start
approximately 8 minutes after the appliance is first
switched on, or after any power interruptions. (e.g.
power failures)
Navigating the display and setting the
storage temperatures
To switch on the appliance, press the ON/OFF button
for more than two seconds.
The
i-care
setting should be automatically activated.
This is the optimal setting for
energy saving
with a
frozen food storage temperature of -18°C and
general refrigerator compartment temperature of +5°C.
Status bar and LED will indicate these temperatures.
AUTO will be displayed.
On first switch on, we recommend that the
SUPER
FREEZE
function is also pressed (the status bar will
continue to display the freezer compartment set value).
This accelerates the cooling process of the freezer.
Once the optimum temperature is reached the function
will be automatically de-activate and frozen food can
be placed in the compartment.
Also,on first switch on, we recommend the
SUPER
COOL
function is pressed
to accelerate the cooling of the refrigerator
compartment. (The status bar will continue to show the
refrigerator compartment set value). After a few hours
the the SUPER COOL function will automatically
de-activate, and the refrigerator will be cool enough for
food to be placed inside.
When temperatures have stabilised on i-care setting, it
is normal that some sections of the refrigerator will
be warmer than 5°C (e.g. fruit and vegetable bin) and
some areas colder (e.g. fresh box).
