2. Frothing Hot Chocolate
Fig 7 Remove the lid.
Fig 8 Press the blender onto the spigot in the bottom of the pot. Check that it rotates freely.
Fig 9 Pour the required amount of milk into the pot, up to the 350 ml max level.
(If more milk is poured into the pot you risk the beverage overflowing!)
Fig10 Add the required amount of chocolate powder or pieces of chocolate bar into the pot.
Note: Around 50g of solid chocolate, added to 350ml of milk, is sufficient to make some
luscious hot chocolate.
If too much chocolate is added then the buzzer will sound and the appliance will stop.
Fig 11 Replace the lid.
Fig 12 Place the pot onto the base unit. Plug in the appliance and switch on the mains supply.
Fig 13 Press the selector button 3 times so that the red
indicator light comes on. The blender
will start to rotate the milk. The blender will turn slowly for around 4 minutes, whilst the
chocolate melts. The blender will then turn slightly quicker for around 4 minutes to create
frothy hot chocolate. The appliance will automatically switch off. If you want to stop the
appliance at any time, press the selector button.
Note: If the hot chocolate function is selected again whilst the hot milk is still in the pot,
then the appliance will run for a further 8 minutes.
NOTE: When the Milk Frother is making hot chocolate, the blender may not initially start to turn;
depending on the amount of solid chocolate that has been added. Once the chocolate has started to
melt the blender should then start turning and mix the milk and chocolate together.
NOTE: Do not put more than the recommended amount of chocolate into the pot.
