5) Check that the refrigerant lines do not rub or touch
lines or other surfaces, and that the fan blade turns
freely.
6) Check that the compressor is snug on all mounting
pads.
7) See the nameplate on the rear panel, and check
that your voltage supplied corresponds with the
voltage specified on the nameplate.
8) Remove the shipping tapes securing the cube
guide.
2. How to Remove Panels - See Fig. 1
IMPORTANT
1. In order to carry out safe and proper
installation of the product, please read this
booklet carefully beforehand and follow the
instructions contained within.
2. On completion of the installation, start the
icemaker to check for any abnormalities,
and instruct the user on how to use and
maintain the icemaker in accordance with the
Instruction Manual.
3. This booklet should be handed over to the
user after the installation and be preserved
by the user together with the Instruction
Manual for any further consultation that may
be necessary.
WARNING
The installation must be carried out by
qualified personnel, in accordance with current
regulations, according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
1. Unpacking
WARNING
Children should not be allowed in reach of the
packaging elements (plastic bags and expanded
polystyrene) as they are potential sources of
danger.
CAUTION
Remove shipping carton, tape, and packing
material. If packing material is left in the
icemaker, it will not work properly.
Note: This icemaker needs a storage bin. The
recommended storage bin is Hoshizaki Ice
Storage Bin, Model B-800 series.
1) After removing the packing material, make sure
that the icemaker is in good condition. If in doubt,
please do not use the equipment but apply
to professionally qualified personnel. See the
instruction sheet attached to the storage bin for its
unpacking and installation guidelines.
2) Remove the panels to prevent damage when
installing the icemaker. (See "2. How to Remove
Panels.")
3) Remove the package containing the accessories
from the compressor compartment.
4) Remove the protective plastic film from the panels.
If the icemaker is exposed to the sun or to heat,
remove the film after the icemaker cools.

a) Front Panel: Remove the two screws. Lift up and
pull towards you.
b) Top Panel: Remove the two screws, and then lift
off.
c) Side Panel (R): Remove the screw. Pull slightly
towards you, and take off.
d) Insulation Panel: Remove the thumbscrew. Lift up
slightly, and pull towards you.
