Fine adjustment of the drilling depth with aluminium clips II

Insert the same number of aluminium clips on all adjustment rods.
NOTE
The exact drilling depth must be determined in the field.

Check the working depth and seed placement after a few metres of drilling.
Ø
Check the drilling depth and correct setting of the machine when starting
work and regularly during use.
8.2 Coulter pressure
The harder the soil and the deeper the seed is to be placed, the higher the required
coulter pressure.
If the coulter pressure is too high, the frame is lifted up slightly via the press rollers
or the press rollers sink into the soil. Exact depth guidance is therefore no longer en-
sured.
Adjusting the coulter pressure
Ø
Set the coulter pressure via the aluminium clips on the piston rods of the
coulter pressure cylinders and move the cylinders onto the clips.
Ø
Check the working results in the field and adjust if necessary.
