Increase the angle of attack (aggressiveness): Slightly lift the seed bar and
screw down the screw (2) in the upper position behind the harrow.
Ø
Adjust all harrows equally.
7.2.10 Maintenance
Ø
Check press rollers for condition, light movement and tight fit.
Ø
Readjust the scraper on the press rollers if required.
Ø
Check the scrapers and uniformers for condition, tight fit and adjustment.
Ø
Check coulter discs and bearings for wear, light movement and preload.
Ø
Tighten the screws for the coulter disc bearings (M 16 x 1.5) with 130 -
150 Nm.
Tighten the screws for the coulter discs (6 x M 8 each) with 38 Nm.
Ø
Check the rubber mounting and replace if aged or showing reduced tension-
ing force.
