4.13.3 Controlling the flow
direction of the blowing air flow

Press button (2) for a short moment to change
the direction of the air flow.

The fan can be set for three different flow directions:
(I), (II), (III)
Pressing the button (2) for a short moment
changes the status of then fan to the next status.

Short contact with the button (2) deactivates
the automatic air conditioning or the automatic
de-icing of the screens, provided one of these
functions is activated.
The air flow inside the cabin can be directed to -
wards the driver through the air nozzles (5) in the
steering column or in the dashboard and through
the air nozzles in the left and right consoles.
Degree of opening and flow direction of these
air nozzles can be manually changed as desired.
4.13 Air conditioning /
heating
4.13.1 Switching the control panel
on/off

Press button (1) to activate/deactivate auto-
matic air conditioning.
In activated condition the button (1) lights green,
in deactivated condition it lights white.
When switching off, the active parameter set -
tings will by saved by the system. When switch-
ing on, these previously active parameters will
be used again.

4.13.2 Automatic screen de-icing

Hold button (2) depressed for longer than 2
seconds to activate/deactivate the automatic
screen de-icing.
The display shows the symbols (3) and (4).
The flow direction of the air flow (4) cannot be
changed without deactivating the automatic de-
icing mode. In this mode the blowing air comes
from outside. The air conditioning system can
be deactivated, but will be switched on again
after 10 minutes.
With automatic screen de-icing deactivated, the
system saves all active parameters and takes
on the parameters from the previous operating
status.
With the automatic screen de-icing activated, the
ventilation runs with highest fan power. The air
conditioning system is activated and the nominal
temperature is set to the highest value.
