2.2. "QC" tab description
The " QC " tab is composed of the following elements:

3 fields, located at the top of the tab, give information on the selected control:
- the "
Name " field displays the control name.
- the " Lot number " field displays the control lot number.
- the " Expiry date " field displays the control expiration date.

3 frames containing 1 radio button to select control (See 2.3. Control management, page 5-4 ).
It is recommended to use the left frame for the low level control, the middle frame for the normal
level control and the right frame for the high level control.
When the user selects a control, the corresponding control frame is highlighted.

9 icons give the QC results status of each family (See 2.3.1. Control status icons, page 5-4 ).

2.3.1. Control status icons

Icon Name Description
QC expired
The control blood expiration date is reached. Analysis cannot be run on the
expired control but patient samples can be analysed. The control is expired
but its result is valid (until the time limit between two control runs has not
been exceeded).
Inter QC time
limit
The inter QC time limit set has been exceeded between two control runs.
Patient samples can be analysed but the "QCtl" (QC time limit) alarm will
be triggered on the result.
Run an analysis for this control (See Section 4,
2.2. Running control blood
(ABX Minotrol 16), page 4-11 ).
The instrument automatic lock on Inter QC time limit alarm could be set in
the "
Settings " menu (See Section 6, 6.5. Analysis running, page 6-14 ).
Invalid QC
The QC is invalid:
- In a parameter family, at least one parameter QC result is out of range.
or
- QC is invalid because flag D, *, $ or ! is triggered.
The instrument automatic lock on invalid QC alarm could be set in the
"
Settings " menu (See Section 6, 6.5. Analysis running, page 6-14 ).
QC passed The QC has passed.
