Note:
If the battery is in deep discharge condition, after restarting the BMS, there are 3 minutes left to
set up the charging current. If the BMS detects a charging current within the 3 minutes time, the
BMS remains active and the battery may be charged fully.
In the case of deeply discharged batteries, the DC link cable must be pulled out and then
plugged in again immediately. Over and above this, the battery must be charged within 3
minutes so that the normal operating mode can be reached (for this purpose, see also the
operating manual of the battery inverter).
Fault:
If overshoot of the operating limits or a BMS internal error has been identified, then
depending on the respective error, the semiconductor switch is opened in order to interrupt
the flow of current in the charge and / or discharge direction. The error codes are described
in chapter 12.
Note:
in case of critical errors, the battery system is disconnected from the battery inverter via an
electromechanical switch. The battery system cannot be operated any longer (see also the
appropriate error message in chapter 12). In this case, contact the installation engineer or
HOPPECKE Service.
