IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using your Hoover HSV 40 Cordless Vacuum, basic safety precautions should

always be adhered to, including the following:

Always disconnect from the mains supply when cleaning.

To disconnect, hold plug and pull from wall outlet. Never pull on the cord.

  Replace/clean the filter when necessary.

Empty the dust bag when full (make sure unit is not connected to electricity).

Use only attachments recommended by the manufacturer.

Avoid getting electrical parts (e.g. motor) wet.

Make sure that the filter is securely attached before vacuuming. Forgetting

Do not operate if cleaner appears to be faulty.

Never attempt to open any part or dismantle the controls.

Do not block the flow of air. Blocking the suction or allowing the dust to clog

the hose will decrease the efficiency.

Close  supervision  is  required  when  any  appliance  is  used  near  or  by

children.

Never use the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
