electrical outlet.

Hold cleaner with nozzle point-
ing down and opening in

cleaner is aligned with hook in wall
bracket.  Slide cleaner straight
down.

Press firmly on cleaner to

ensure that end of cord is fully
connected

.  Your cleaner will begin

charging.  It is designed to be
stored on charge and ready for use
at all times.

Charge batteries for 16 hours
before initial use.

After that time,

the cleaner can run about 12 minutes
on the “Carpet” setting or about 16
minutes on the “Bare Floor” setting.  If
performance drops to an unaccept-
able level during cleaning,  refer to
the problem chart in “Maintenance”
section.

NOTE:

• It is normal for the charger to feel
warm when the battery is charging.
Never charge batteries in tempera-
tures above100o F or below 32oF.

• Charging light (A) illuminates when
cleaner is charging.

• The cleaner can be on a constant
charge so it is always ready for use.

Make sure it is in “OFF/Charge”
position before charging.

However,

if the cleaner will not be used for
several weeks at a time, unplugging
it is recommended.

How to use

ON-OFF switch and

carpet/bare floor selector

The switch has 3 positions.

1. Slide switch toward the han-

dle to turn OFF (A).
Push switch forward to turn ON for
cleaning:
2. Bare-floors (B) - brush roll is
stopped
3. Carpet (C) - brush roll rotates

For corded models:

Plug cord into electrical outlet.  To
reduce risk of electric shock, this
appliance has a polarized plug (one
blade is wider than the other).  This
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way.  If the plug does not fit fully
in the outlet, reverse the plug.  If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician to install the proper outlet.

Do not change the plug in any way.
