Installation Instructions
Before Installation
General Equipment Required
1. Figure 1 shows dimensions for TP979A-E Dual Zero
Energy Band Pneumatic Thermostats (“Thermostats”).
Installation requires the following:

2. Thermostats mount to a deep wall box or on a surface.
3. Table 1 describes Thermostat action and the component
thermostats that
make
up the various TP979 models.

For flush mounting:
14001355-001 Deep Wall Box (screws provided),
2-5/8 x l-7/16 x 2-9/16 in. (67 x 37 x 65 mm), with
optional 14001354-001 Deep Wall Box Mounting
Bracket for offsetting Deep WaII Box from stud
or
Standard utility conduit box, 4 x 2-1/8 x l-7/8 in.
(102 x 54 x 48 mm)
Calibration may require the following:
CCT902 (MQT902) Test Thermometer
305965 Gage (0 to 30 psi [0 to 207 kPa])
CCT729 (MQP729) Gage Port Needle
