PM42 Industrial Label Printer User Manual

Use one of these methods to upgrade the printer firmware:

•

Printer Web page

•

USB Storage Device

•

PrintSet 5. For help, see the user guide that ships with the software.

Download the Printer Firmware Update

Before you can upgrade the printer firmware, you need to download the 
upgrade file.

Download the latest firmware version to your PC.

Upgrade Firmware from the Printer Web Page

You can upgrade firmware from the printer Web page.

On your PC, open a Web browser.

In the

Upgrade Firmware from a USB Storage Device

You can use a USB storage device to upgrade firmware. Honeywell 
recommends that you use a blank USB storage device.

Copy the firmware upgrade file to the root directory of the USB 
storage device.

Turn the printer off.

Insert the USB storage device into a USB host port.
