4. Use the following table to set the fields on the Text Criteria screen.
When you have finished setting the text report criteria:
1. Select OK , then press Enter to return to the Create New Report screen.
2. Select Accept , then press Enter to return to the Reports main menu.The new report
you created displays on the Select Reports drop-down list.
Field Description
Case Sensitive Enable or disable case sensitivity for searching. When enabled, a text search
considers uppercase letters to be different from lowercase letters.
Text Ports Select which of the (virtual) text ports (1 to 4) the data is searched and extracted
from.
Note There is one physical text port on the rear panel of the HRDVS, to which up
to four virtual text ports can be connected. These four text streams are
identified using text string/camera correlation technique.
Text Search Conditions
The following three fields allow you to specify up to three text search conditions for each report. If you select more
than one condition, your search will report if any of them is found.
Search Data Left-hand string box = Specify text (letters and/or numbers) you are searching for.
Right-hand amount boxes = Enter an amount in the right-hand box, then refine the
search parameters in the center box using these options:
= (default). Equal to the value shown in the right-hand box
> Greater than the value shown in the right-hand box
< Less than the value shown in the right-hand box
x The number box is ignored and the search process only looks at the text string.
If you only want to look for a number, and the text is irrelevant, enter an * in the String
box.
Start Specify how much of each video clip (2 to 10 seconds) is shown for each text string
before the text event occurred.
Play Specify how many seconds (2 to 10) in total should be played.
