Operation

This section introduces the basic operation and setup of the PTZ.Search IP Camera.

Search IP Camera

Find camera IP addresses via search tool. After the NVS software is installed, a search tool

shortcut icon that looks like

will be created on the desktop. Click the icon for IP

address search, users can find the IP addresses and other parameters of all the dome
cameras in connection with the host computer. Users can modify IP addresses and other
parameters by double clicking the IP addresses.

Before accessing the IP camera via Internet Explorer, you need to configure the network
settings of the host computer in the same LAN with the IP camera (e.g. IP address:
192.168.1.188, Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 192.168.1.1).

Download and Install ActiveX

You need to install the ActiveX control if you visit the IP camera via IE browser for the first
time.
