Installation 

Before you start: 

 

Make sure that the camera is in good condition and all of the assembly 

parts are included. 

 

Make sure that all related equipment is powered-off during the 

installation. 

 

Check that the camera specification agrees with the installation 

environment. 

 

To avoid damage, ensure the power supply voltage matches your 

camera requirements. 

 

If the product does not function properly, please contact your dealer or 

the nearest service center. Do not disassemble the camera for repair 

or maintenance by yourself. 

 

Make sure that the installation surface is strong enough to withstand 

three times the weight of the camera. 

Ceiling/Wall Mounting for HD40H(X) Camera 

Steps: 

1.  Hold the mounting base, and rotate the lower dome counterclockwise 

to disassemble the lower dome and the black liner (see Figure 1-5). 

2.  Drill the screw holes and the cable hole in the ceiling/wall according to 

the supplied mounting template.
