Day&Night
Picture can be displayed in either color or black and white.
In the SETUP menu, navigate to
DAY&NIGHT
, and set it to
AUTO
(default),
B/W
, or
COLOR
.
If AUTO is selected, do the following:
1.
Press the joystick to enter the DAY&NIGHT AUTO menu (see
Figure 8
).

Set the
DELAY
time. Select a value between
0
and
15
seconds. The default setting
is 5 seconds.
3.
Set the Day-to-Night (
D
N
) threshold. Select a value between
0
and
255
. The
default setting is 60. The higher the value, the lower the light level at which the
camera switches from day mode to night mode.
4.
Set the Night-to-Day (
N
D
) threshold. Select a value between
0
and
239
. The
default setting is 20. The higher the value, the lower the light level at which the
camera switches from night mode to day mode.
5.
Select
RETURN
to save your settings and return to the SETUP menu.
Mode
Description
AUTO
The camera automatically switches between day (color) mode and night
(black-and-white) mode, depending on the amount of ambient light.
EXT
Not supported.
B/W
The camera remains in night (black-and-white) mode, regardless of the light
level.
COLOR
The camera remains in day (color) mode, regardless of the light level.
