Installation and Setup
Installing the Conduit Plug
Your HD4DIP(X) camera enclosure comes with a conduit plug pre-installed in the 3/4 inch
conduit entry on the back. This plug may be removed and installed in the side 3/4 inch
conduit entry (see
Figure 2-3
)
.

WARNING! To minimize moisture leaking into the camera housing,
position the enclosure with the conduit pointing down. After
feeding the cables through (see
Wiring , page 23 ), apply an
appropriate sealant around the conduit connection.
Using the Grommet
If a conduit is not used for cable routing, install the rubber grommet in the conduit hole, then
slit the grommet and feed the cables through (see
Wiring , page 23 ). Seal the grommet to
prevent moisture from entering the housing.
Mounting the Camera
Mount the camera to a wall or ceiling using the supplied screws (see Preparing the
Mounting Surface on page 20 ).
