Insert the XFL5 Hardware Migration Adapter on the
XSL513/XSL514 terminal block as shown in the fol-
lowing figure. Make sure that the XFL5 Hardware
Migration Adapter is positioned correctly and apply
firm pressure.

Lock the safety latch by moving the slider to the left
on the XSL513/XSL514 terminal block as shown in
Fig. 2 - Type A Safety Latch. If the XSL512 Manual
Terminal Disconnect Module is installed, it is recom-
mended that you use a screwdriver or similar for
locking as shown in Fig 3 - Type B Safety Latch.

Insert the XF8xx/XFR8xx I/O module on the XFL5
Hardware Migration Adapter.
6.
Make sure that the T-shape of the XF8xx/XFR8xx
I/O module is aligned with T-slot of the XFL5 Hard-
ware Migration Adapter. This confirms that the
XF8xx/XFR8xx I/O module has connected firmly
with the XFL5 Hardware Migration Adapter.
