Using the Emergency
Override Key
Using the Emergency Override Key
Your safe is equipped with an Emergency Override Key which
allows immediate access in case you forget your Passcode or the
batteries need replacing.
1. Press firmly in on the dotted arrow on the front of the
battery cover and push downward to open.
2. Remove 4-AA Batteries.
3. Insert one of the Emergency Override Keys (2 included) into
the bypass lock located behind the batteries, and turn to the
right.
4. Rotate the knob clockwise to the right and pull door open.
5. With door in the open position, turn the Emergency
Override Key to the left and remove it from lock.
6. Re-insert the 4-AA batteries. If required, replace discharged
batteries with a new set. (Page 5)
7. Replace the battery cover, and with the door still open, test
your new Passcode. If your current Passcode has been
forgotten or no longer works, re-program a new Passcode
(Page 3) and retest.
8. Lock the safe and return the Emergency Override Key to a
secure location away from the safe.

Ordering Replacement Keys
If a key becomes misplaced or you would like additional keys, you may conveniently
purchase them from our Customer Service Department. You must supply the following
information to assure accurate processing:
• Name / Address / Telephone
• Safe Model Number / Serial Number
• Key Number (located on the key and Emergency Override Key lock cover)
• Number of keys requested
• E-mail address if available

In the USA, replacement keys are available for a fee and credit card orders are accepted
by telephone or via our web site. Checks or Money Orders are required for orders
received by mail and should be made payable to SISCO®. Contact our Customer
Service Department for costing information prior to ordering.
