2002/96/EC. When the unit has come to the end of its life, dispose of it in accordance with
local regulations. It is classified as electronic waste and contains a battery and therefore
should be disposed of separately from household waste.
This heat alarm is certified by BSI to the European standard BS-5446-2:2003, the the
identification number 0003. It conforms to the General Product Safety Directive (GPSD), the
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC), the Restriction of Hazardous Substances
Directive (RoHS) and the Radio Equipment Directive (RED).
