SYMPTOM: Engine starts, but runs poorly.

under load If applicable, switch to the
recommended octane gasoline
(page 127) or change your
brand of gasoline. If the
problem persists, see your
dealer.
afterburn (backfires) See your dealer.
pre-ignition (runs on
after ignition switched
OFF) See your dealer.
SYMPTOM: Engine starts, but runs poorly or dies when
