STOPPING THE ENGINE

STOPPING THE ENGINE

Unplug appliances from the generator receptacles.

The fuel valve will automatically close.

To stop the engine in an emergency, simply turn the engine switch to
the OFF position. Under normal conditions, use the following
procedure.

Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.

Allow the engine to cool well, turn the vent lever to the OFF position.

If two generators were connected for parallel operation, disconnect
the parallel operation kit after stopping the engines if you do not
wish to resume parallel operation.
