If you cannot start the engine:

Place the vehicle on its centre stand.

Lock the rear wheel by squeezing the rear

brake lever and setting the brake lock lever.

With the throttle slightly open (about 3 mm,

without freeplay), press the start button.

If the engine does not start:

Open the throttle fully and press the start

button for 5 seconds.

Repeat the normal starting procedure.

If the engine starts, open the throttle slightly

if idling is unstable.

If the engine does not start, wait 10 seconds

before trying steps

again.
